As a Lead Data Scientist at HexionLab, you will be responsible for leading complex data science projects, developing predictive models, and driving strategic data initiatives. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to provide actionable insights, influence business strategy, and advance our data-driven culture.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, and deployment of predictive models, algorithms, and data-driven solutions.
• Guide and mentor a team of data scientists, fostering growth, collaboration, and innovation.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and deliver impactful data solutions.
• Drive data-driven decision-making by uncovering actionable insights and recommending strategic actions.
• Develop and optimize scalable machine learning models for a variety of applications.
• Communicate complex data findings and strategies to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Skills and Qualifications

• 7 to 10 years of experience in data science, including experience leading complex projects and deploying models in production.

• Strong knowledge of data wrangling, data transformation, and big data technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Spark).
• Proven experience leading and mentoring teams in a data science setting.
• Exceptional problem-solving, critical-thinking, and analytical skills.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to translate complex concepts into actionable insights.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and MLOps practices is a plus.
