Job description

Lead Data Scientist – NIKE

Location: Beaverton, OR, USA

Develop predictive and descriptive models to identify new opportunities to bring value through data-driven insights and innovation; collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams, deliver work on time against a roadmap, and share their work with non-technical audiences; apply contemporary data science and analytics methods; extract consumer preferences and tendencies from event streams; develop algorithms to target and reward deserving members; predict which consumers and how many are likely to want to purchase upcoming footwear and apparel; create models and simulations to understand marketplace dynamics; design and analyze experiments to illuminate causality; act as a strategic partner to business team members and lead research and analysis to inform business strategy; build stakeholder-facing tools to support decision-making; create work to communicate significant insights to a non-technical audience; collaborate with other data scientists, analysts, and a range of multi-functional business partners. Telecommuting is available from anywhere in the U.S., except from SD, VT, and WV.

Minimum Requirements

Employer will accept a Master’s degree in Business Analytics and Project Management, Data Science, Mathematics, or Statistics and two (2) years of experience in the job offered or an analyst-related occupation.
