Grow Care Inc d/b/a Grow Therapy - Lead Data Scientist

Location: New York, NY (Telecommuting permitted from anywhere in the U.S.)

Job Responsibilities:

1. Build statistical, optimization, and machine learning models for applications including ranking, cost estimation, and customer lifetime value.
2. Use causal inference and Bayesian techniques to estimate the business value of initiatives across our marketplace.
3. Collaborate with product managers and engineers to improve data logging and data pipelines for accuracy, integrity, and reliability.
4. Produce data-driven analyses to inform company strategy.

Minimum Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Data Science, Machine Learning, Analytics, or related field.
• At least 4 years of experience in statistics, analytics, and machine learning addressing complex business problems.
• 2+ years of experience with Python, SQL, causal inference methods, and experimentation.
• Experience in data storytelling, creating narratives from data, and summarizing insights for executives.
• Experience with data infrastructure for marketing performance tracking and evaluation.
• Proficiency in building measurement models such as incrementality testing, attribution, and media mix modeling.
• Ability to design, run, and interpret statistical tests including A/B testing and causal inference methods.

Compensation:

Salary range: $200,000 - $250,000 per year.
