Job summary

Clark Construction Group seeks a Senior Data Platform Architect to lead the enterprise data infrastructure and govern the unified data foundation. You will architect platforms like Snowflake, Databricks, and AWS, enabling 5000+ users with secure data sharing and governance.

The role is onsite at our McLean, VA office, reporting to the Enterprise Data and Analytics lead. You will direct modernization efforts and collaborate with cross-functional teams to support AI and analytics initiatives.

Qualifications

• 7–10+ years in data engineering, enterprise integration, or platform architecture.
• Hands-on experience with Snowflake or Databricks and cloud infra (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
• Experience with data mesh architectures and data lakehouse concepts.
• Proven ability to design scalable data foundations and secure data sharing.

Responsibilities

• Lead platform architecture and governance across data ecosystems.
• Architect and maintain data flows between enterprise systems.
• Drive platform modernization and roadmaps for security, performance, and availability.
• Establish and scale corporate data catalog and metadata coverage.
• Collaborate with BI/ML teams to enable advanced analytics.
