Job summary

Service Experts Heating & Air Conditioning seeks a Principal Architect to own the enterprise Data Platform, governing the ODP and DaaP transformation. You will lead architecture, strategy, and a hybrid delivery model across onshore/offshore teams to ensure stability, scalability, and compliance.

Responsibilities cover platform standards, data product ownership, and governance with a focus on Azure Databricks, Delta Lake, and Power BI to support analytics and AI workloads.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in data, platform, or enterprise architecture roles.
• 3+ years designing and operating cloud-native data platforms (Azure preferred).
• Deep expertise in Azure Databricks, Spark, Delta Lake, Power BI, and Data Ops.
• Experience leading onsite and offshore teams in managed services or hybrid models.
• Strong governance, security, and SOX experience in regulated environments.
• Bachelor's degree in CS or Engineering; Master's preferred.

Responsibilities

• Architect and lead the enterprise data platform strategy and governance.
• Own platform stability, scalability, compliance, and modernization roadmaps.
• Coordinate onshore/offshore resources and vendor performance.
• Define RBAC, data masking, and CI/CD standards for the platform.
• Oversee Data Ops, incident management, and production support.
• Ensure analytics, reporting, and AI/ML workloads scale enterprise-wide.
