Job summary

Fidelity Investments is seeking a Principal Data Modeler to advance the Workplace Investments data models, aligning with WI Data Strategy and Enterprise Data Taxonomy. You will design scalable models and guide technical decisions across multiple agile teams with strong collaboration.

Leverage 8-10+ years in enterprise data modeling, modernize legacy data, and mentored teammates while contributing to data governance and architecture standards in a dynamic, onsite environment.

Qualifications

• 8-10+ years of data modeling experience across conceptual, logical, physical, relational, dimensional, and 3NF models.
• Experience designing models for enterprise OLTP and analytical platforms.
• Strong SQL skills (ANSI SQL) and experience with modeling tools.
• Experience with legacy data modernization and cloud migration.
• Excellent communication and mentoring abilities.

Responsibilities

• Build scalable, well-documented data models aligned with the WI Data Strategy and Enterprise Data Taxonomy.
• Influence collaborators and translate business requirements into data models.
• Support modernization projects and governance practices.
