Job summary

Micron Technology is seeking an experienced Information Security professional to lead data loss prevention and IP protection initiatives. You will design enterprise DLP policies, build detections for source code and hardware IP, and automate remediation workflows across endpoints, email, and cloud apps.

You will drive data classification, labeling, and access controls at scale, partnering across functions to safeguard critical information while leveraging AI-powered tooling and cloud platforms.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of information security experience with DLP, data classification/ labeling, and enterprise-scale policy design.
• Strong foundation in CS/engineering with networking, OS, and data protection knowledge.
• Experience with AI and automation including ML concepts and cloud platforms.
• Experience with cloud security tools and scripting/automation (PowerShell, Python).
• Excellent communication to operationalize security controls across functions.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the enterprise DLP authority and manage data loss prevention policies.
• Develop detections for source code, hardware designs, and IP using regex and ML-based classifiers.
• Tune DLP policies to reduce false positives with automated remediation workflows.
• Monitor exfiltration across USB, email, SaaS, cloud apps, and personal webmail.
• Lead data classification, labeling, rights management, and conditional access initiatives.
• Drive large-scale information protection programs with auto-labeling and policy controls.
