Job summary

BairesDev is seeking a Lead Data Engineer (Snowflake) to design, build, and optimize scalable data pipelines for analytics. You will leverage Python and GCP services to deliver reliable streaming and batch processing across enterprise environments.

Collaborate with product and engineering teams to ensure data quality, modeling, and efficient ETL/ELT workflows with Airflow/Cloud Composer. This is 100% remote with flexible hours and USD or local currency compensation, plus ongoing growth

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in Data Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Strong hands‑on experience with Python and GCP services like BigQuery, Dataflow, and Pub/Sub.
• Proven expertise in designing streaming data pipelines and robust ETL/ELT workflows.
• Solid understanding of workflow orchestration with Apache Airflow or Cloud Composer and data modeling for analytics.
• Advanced proficiency in English.
