Overview

Work Flexibility: Remote


As a Lead Data Engineer in our Endoscopy division, you’ll architect and deliver scalable data solutions that directly impact commercial strategy and operational excellence. This is your opportunity to shape how data is accessed, interpreted, and leveraged across the business.


What You Will Do


  • Lead end-to-end data engineering projects from requirements gathering through architecture validation and deployment.

  • Design and build robust data infrastructure to transform and structure data from multiple systems for downstream use.

  • Develop and maintain databases, servers, and data models that support commercial business needs.

  • Manage data platforms including Azure and Power BI, ensuring optimal performance and accessibility.

  • Oversee data model refresh schedules to balance business needs with system efficiency.

  • Evaluate financial impacts of existing projects and new data opportunities.

  • Collaborate with enterprise functions, data analysts, and business stakeholders to identify and implement data-driven solutions.

  • Investigate and implement new data engineering infrastructure to support evolving business requirements.


What You Will Need

Required Qualifications


  • Bachelor’s degree OR minimum 6 years of applicable data engineering and architecture experience.

  • Minimum 4 years of professional experience in data engineering or advanced data analytics.

  • Proven experience leading full-cycle data engineering/analytics projects.

  • Proficiency in object-oriented programming and data structures.

  • Skills in at least one core data engineering language (e.g., SQL, Python).

  • Experience with ETL/ELT processes, pipeline orchestration, and data warehouse architecture.

  • Hands-on experience with cloud-native tools (e.g., Azure, AWS, GCP, Power BI).

  • Experience developing data models and infrastructure for business intelligence platforms.


Preferred Qualifications


  • Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Analytics, Mathematics, Statistics, Data Science, or related technical field.

  • Familiarity with programming languages used in data analytics (e.g., R, DAX, M).

  • Knowledge of DataOps, DevOps, and/or SecOps practices.

  • Understanding of data security and privacy best practices.

  • Experience using Agile/DevOps methodologies and project management tools.


$100,500.00 - $215,300.00 salary plus bonus eligible + benefits. Individual pay is based on skills, experience, and other relevant factors.


Travel Percentage: 10%
