Job summary

Anduril Industries is seeking a Data Engineer on the Analytics Team to design, build, and deploy data pipelines and models enabling our next generation of defense technologies. You will influence the evolution of the data platform and collaborate with multiple stakeholders across the company.

You will own ingest/egress frameworks, leverage Palantir Foundry, and apply modern data tooling like SQLMesh, Athena, Iceberg, and Flyte.

Qualifications

• Strong Python or similar language skills.
• Experience building data pipelines and products in fast-paced environments.
• Familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau).
• Experience with Palantir Foundry or similar data platforms is a plus.
• Security-conscious engineering mindset and ownership of data transformations.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and roadmap for the data platform.
• Collaborate with operations, product, and engineering to implement best practices.
• Own data ingest and egress frameworks for pipelines.
• Maintain data self-service at scale using central hubs like Palantir Foundry.
• Use SQLMesh for transformations and maintain CI/CD for data pipelines.
• Query data with Athena and manage large data lakes.
