FastTek is seeking a Principal Data Engineer in Jackson, Michigan to design, develop, and maintain data pipelines and data warehouse solutions. You will lead analytics teams and partner with business stakeholders to enable data-driven decisions and scalable data architectures.

The role requires strong expertise in data modeling, ETL, Spark, and Databricks, with a track record of mentoring junior engineers and delivering enterprise-grade data products.

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science or a related field.
• Seven or more years of software engineering and intermediate level data engineering experience including analytics tool development, data architecture/design, ETL, data testing, and analytic tool deployment.

Mansioni

• Assemble and cleanse large datasets to support business requirements.
• Capture and evaluate requirements from data architects and business partners and establish delivery timelines.
• Create data visualizations to support insights and KPIs using reporting tools.
• Identify opportunities to automate data wrangling, optimize performance and improve data quality.
• Provide day-to-day guidance to lower-level Data Engineers and mentor the team.
