Position: Data Architect / Lead Data Engineer (Exp. with Data Vault 2.0)

Contract Duration: 12+ months

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Data Engineer with extensive experience in data warehousing, data integration, and orchestration, particularly using Data Vault methodologies. The ideal candidate will also have hands-on experience integrating with Salesforce CPQ and be comfortable collaborating directly with business stakeholders to gather and refine requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Integrate and manage data flows between Salesforce CPQ and downstream systems.
• Engage with customers and business stakeholders to gather, analyze, and translate requirements into technical solutions.
• Design and implement scalable data models using Data Vault architecture.
• Define and manage business keys, hubs, links, and satellites, with a clear understanding of dimensions and facts.
• Perform impact analysis and manage schema changes within the Data Vault.
• Identify and resolve circular dependencies in the Data Vault model.
• Optimize performance of complex queries and data pipelines.
• Build, schedule, and monitor workflows using Apache Airflow for data orchestration.

Required Skills

• Proven experience integrating with Salesforce CPQ
• Strong understanding and hands-on expertise in Data Vault 2.0 architecture
• Solid knowledge of dimensions, facts, and attribute modeling
• Experience managing schema changes in a dynamic data warehouse environment
• Proficiency in SQL and performance tuning
