Meta is seeking a data engineering leader in Utah to drive the data foundation and analytics across platforms, partnering with product managers, data scientists and software engineers to empower decision making for billions of users and internal teams.

You will mentor engineers, own data models, optimize ETL, and influence product decisions with data, while advancing security and privacy data solutions in a fast-paced, globally distributed environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field or equivalent practical experience.
• 10+ years in data warehouse space and ETL design/maintenance.
• 10+ years with object-oriented programming languages and SQL.
• Experience leading data governance, security, and scalable analytics.
• Ability to communicate data warehouse plans to internal clients.

Responsibilities

• Drive vision for data foundation and analytics across platforms.
• Own data architecture for large-scale projects and weigh design tradeoffs.
• Build data models and visualizations for multiple product domains.
• Mentor team members and influence cross-functional decisions.
• Define SLA for datasets and ensure data quality and governance.
