The role supports a hybrid work model with office bases in Waltham, MA or Brooklyn, NY. The ideal candidate has 7+ years in database/data engineering, strong data modeling skills, and experience with Snowflake, Azure, and Matillion.

This role operates under a hybrid working model and is based out of our Waltham, MA, or the Brooklyn, NY office. Hybrid work expectations are subject to business needs and company policy.
The Lead Data Engineer is a collaborative, hands-on role within the Digital Platform Data Engineering team. This individual is responsible for designing scalable, reliable, and high-performing data solutions for a large-volume enterprise environment and leading the engineering teams responsible for implementation.
This role will support a major IT initiative focused on enabling National Grid business partners, improving how employees serve customers today, and building a data platform that supports future growth.
Waltham: $142k - $166k a year
Brooklyn: $152k - $178k a year
