Job summary

MEPPI is seeking an experienced Mechanical Engineer to lead design and project management for Data Center and IT Cooling products. You will oversee vendor relationships, drawings, BOMs, and technical submittals to support orders, manufacturing, assembly, testing, installation and service for CPSD customers.

You will liaise with customers and vendors to resolve technical issues, review proposals, and contribute to long-range engineering planning.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
Advanced knowledge of HVAC in commercial building applications.
Ability to read, understand and create technical drawings and materials.
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office, CAD, CFD and engineering analysis software.

Responsibilities

Lead engineering activities for Data Center and IT Cooling products.
Provide vendor oversight of drawings, specs, and BOMs for orders and manufacturing.
Review order documents to ensure contract technical requirements are met.
Act as technical liaison between customers, vendors and CPSD to meet needs.
Work with customers and vendors to resolve technical issues and questions.
Coordinate product design with listings (e.g., UL) and evaluate risks in projects.
