Valiant Technologies LLC seeks a hands-on Lead Data Architect to anchor the US side of a multi-year data platform modernization for a leading financial services client. You will own the target Snowflake architecture and guide an India‑based delivery team through an AI-assisted migration, while growing the account by shaping data solutions and opportunities.

You will lead Hadoop‑to‑Snowflake migrations, design data models and ingestion patterns, and ensure compliance with governance and security

Qualificações

• 12+ years in data engineering and architecture.
• 4+ years hands-on Snowflake experience.
• Proven Hadoop (Cloudera, Hive, Spark) to cloud migration delivery.
• Strong SQL, Python and Spark; Snowpark and CI/CD for data pipelines.
• Experience with data modeling, lineage and reconciliation in regulated environments.
• Experience leading distributed teams and presenting to senior stakeholders.

Responsabilidades

• Define the target Snowflake architecture and data models.
• Lead Hadoop-to-Snowflake migrations and decide assets to migrate, re‑engineer, archive or retire.
• Guide conversion of Hive, Spark, Python, and shell workloads to Snowflake SQL and Snowpark.
• Set the validation approach: reconciliation, data-quality rules, parallel runs, cutover and rollback.
• Collaborate with security, governance, and architectural teams on access and retention decisions.
• Identify growth opportunities within the account and shape proposals with sales and delivery leads.
• Mentor engineers and support estimates, scope, and risk management.
