iWorks Corporation is looking for a Lead Data Architect to oversee data architecture and advanced analytics initiatives. This full-time position is crucial for modernizing data solutions related to the U.S. Census Bureau's projects, with a salary range of $130K – $165K, depending on experience and qualifications.
The ideal candidate will have 10–14 years of relevant experience and expertise in data management, governance, and modern data ecosystems, working in a hybrid environment with some remote flexibility.

The Lead Data Architect serves as a senior technical authority responsible for leading data architecture, analytics engineering, and advanced data science initiatives across the program. This role is central to defining and delivering modern, integrated data solutions aligned with enterprise objectives.
The Decennial Transformation and Application Modernization (DTAM) project is a strategic initiative to transform the U.S. Census Bureau's Decennial Census Programs into a data‑centric, cloud‑smart IT environment supporting the 2030 Census and the American Community Survey (ACS). This effort focuses on modernizing and integrating applications and data systems, reducing technical debt and lifecycle costs, and enabling secure, scalable, near‑real‑time data processing and analytics to improve the speed, quality, security, and efficiency of census operations.
**This position is contingent upon contract award**.
$130K – $165K (commensurate with the candidate's skills, experience, location, and qualifications)
We maintain an on‑camera policy for all virtual company meetings to foster engagement and collaboration. Reasonable exceptions may be granted with prior approval from Human Resources and/or the applicable manager or client.
