Job summary

Tyson Foods is seeking an experienced Lead Analyst to transform Tyson Foods Beef & Pork analytics by partnering across business and IT to translate requirements into data products and actionable insights.

The role covers the full analytics lifecycle from requirements gathering, through data modeling, to reporting and advanced analytics use cases, enabling data-driven decisions and enterprise initiatives.

Qualifications

• Strong subject matter expertise in Food Industry business processes and technical capabilities.
• Experience leading complex transformation initiatives impacting business processes and technology.
• Ability to translate business requirements into data products and analytics solutions.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management across IT and business units.

Responsibilities

• Act as the IT partner to the business, aligning data products to goals and delivering data solutions.
• Strong subject matter expertise in Food Industry business processes and technical capabilities.
• Experience leading complex transformation initiatives that impact business process and technology, ideally legacy system experience.
• Actively participate and help guide IT data gathering and data architecture strategy, integration, and deployment activities across analytics space.
• Cultivate strong business relationships by demonstrating an understanding of related processes, requirements, systems, and terminology.
• Partner with stakeholder teams across business units to document necessary business cases to frame opportunities, benefits, and risks.
• Stay current with stakeholder needs and strategies by developing a communication process and facilitating project meetings and presentations to diverse audiences.
• Work with business and IT Leadership to develop IT analytics strategies and technical roadmaps.
• Coordinate cross-functional business & IT teams to develop scalable solutions that meet business needs.
• Assist in the project delivery of multi-business technology solutions and proficiency in analysis, design, software requirements, configuration, automated testing, and implementation.
• Partner with software vendors on functionality roadmaps and critical issues to ensure.
