Purpose

The Lead Data Analyst will support the Risk Adjustment team by monitoring KPIs, providing insights for operational decisions, and working with vendors to ensure data integrity. This role requires deep experience in risk adjustment and the ability to work independently.

Responsibilities
  • Explore data using programming languages and manage complex database structures.
  • Analyze data to develop insights and business recommendations.
  • Support stakeholders with data-related questions and issues.
  • Research data flow across data ecosystems.
  • Gather requirements and produce technical documentation.
  • Design, develop, validate, and deliver data insights for business decisions.
  • Mentor team members and guide less experienced staff.
Qualifications

Education: Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Mathematics, Computer Science, Statistics, Business, or related field, or 4 additional years of relevant experience.

Experience: 8 years in analytical roles.

Preferred Skills
  • Healthcare industry experience and Medicare risk adjustment knowledge.
  • Proficiency in SQL, Power BI, and Excel.
  • Experience with PowerPoint and stakeholder presentations.
  • Project management skills and ability to handle multiple stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of claims data and data warehouses.
  • Experience with Fabric or Alteryx is a plus.

Additional Information

Salary Range: $97,056 - $192,764

Location: Remote, within the greater Baltimore/Washington area with periodic in-person meetings.
