Job summary

Nexamp in Boston, MA is seeking a Lead Data Analyst to craft insightful data stories and empower Nexamp's business owners with data-driven decisions. You will own data models, dashboards, and analyses for the marketing and customer experience teams, including acquisition and retention forecasts, using SQL and BI tools.

You will join a centralized data team, collaborate across stakeholders, and shape the roadmap for Nexamp’s data platform while reporting to the Director, Product Management -

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience as a data analyst serving business owners and collaborating with data engineers.
• Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field preferred; advanced degree is a plus.
• Advanced in SQL and BI tool administration and usage (Databricks and Sigma a plus).
• Strong track record of independently solving problems.

Responsibilities

• Independently gather requirements for, prioritize, deliver, maintain, and improve data models, dashboards, analyses, and other data assets.
• Become the subject matter expert for data in your business areas and support stakeholders.
• Create and maintain data documentation, write user stories for data engineering, and validate data mapping.
• Monitor usage of data assets, promote self-service through BI tools, and provide training and support.
• Work within a centralized data team using agile methodologies and collaborate with peer analysts.
• Partner with data architects, engineers, scientists, and analysts to shape the roadmap for Nexamp’s data platform.
