New Mexico Department of Health in Santa Fe, NM seeks a Lead Data Analyst to strengthen enterprise reporting through advanced Power BI dashboards, reliable data pipelines, and stakeholder-ready analytics.

You will work onsite with program teams to deliver accurate, actionable insights and continuous improvement of reporting operations.

Competenze

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in a related field with nine (9) years of directly related experience, or equivalent in accountability systems, performance measures, data collection and analysis.
• Education and experience combination totaling thirteen (13) years may substitute for the required education and experience, based on related field or direct occupation experience.
• Ability to maintain a valid Driver’s License.

• Lead the design, development, and maintenance of advanced Power BI reports and dashboards for program stakeholders.
• Run stakeholder meetings to gather requirements and translate analytical needs into reporting solutions.
• Build, optimize, and document data pipelines, including automation of extraction, transformation, and refresh within the Power BI Service.

This onsite role in Santa Fe, NM supports program teams with accurate, actionable insights and continuous improvement of reporting operations.

What You’ll Do

What You Bring

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in a related field, with nine (9) years of experience directly related to the position at time of posting, or experience in development, implementation, and management of accountability systems, performance measures, data collection, analysis, statistical research, and/or advanced statistical work.
• Alternately, an education and experience combination totaling thirteen (13) years may substitute for the required education and experience (based on a related field and/or direct experience in the occupation).
• Ability to maintain a valid Driver’s License.

Working Conditions

Work is performed in an office setting with exposure to Visual/Video Display Terminal (VDT) and extensive use of a personal computer and TEAMS.

Pay and Coverage

• Salary: USD 40 - 64 per hourly
• This is a bargaining unit position covered by a collective bargaining agreement. All terms and conditions of the agreement apply and must be adhered to.
