Job summary

Tcs Ct Usa is seeking a senior data analytics professional in Cary, NC, to translate business problems into analytical solutions and drive end-to-end data engineering initiatives. The role is highly technical, focusing on ETL design, data governance, and governance-enabled data quality improvements.

You will collaborate with data science and IT teams, validate data loads, and ensure accurate data transformations using Informatica MFT, DBT, and Snowflake.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or related discipline.
• 8+ years of solutions development / analysis experience, including 5+ years in data management/engineering.
• Proficient understanding of distributed computing principles and informatica Scripts / MFT.
• Extensive experience in data analysis and data modeling (table design).
• Proficiency in SQLs and data exploratory tools.
• Extensive experience writing functional requirements and high-level design documents.
• Experience in writing validation scripts to validate the data, data integrations and ETL transformations.
• Analytical skills to analyze situations and come to optimal and efficient solution based on requirements.
• Strong data analysis and profiling skills.
• Data warehouse concepts.
• Strong analytical skills related to working with unstructured datasets.
• SQL knowledge and data analysis skills for data anomaly detection and data quality assurance.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

Responsibilities

• Translate business problems into analytical solutions with defined outcomes.

Role Description

Key Responsibilities:

• Work with business/data product team to translate given business problem into analytical solution with defined outcomes.
• Analyze the data in depth, informatica MFT, using SQLs and other exploratory tools against various platforms such as Bigdata, Oracle, SQL Server and others.
• Convert business requirements to functional requirements, with detailed transformation rules for ETL team. This is a very technical hands-on role and mandatory to have Informatica MFT, DBT and snowflake
• Work closely with the ETL and data science teams to review the requirements and data integrations.
• Understand the requirements from Business and Data Science. Understand the business and business impact on use cases.
• Write validation scripts to validate the data loaded by ETL team an assess using MFT / DBT.
• Work with IT and business customers to develop and design requirements to formulate technical design.
• Skills to understand the right functional domain knowledge of the business to be able to gather right requirements for the design.
• Capture meta data, data lineage, reference data management and data quality rules as part of data governance.
• Work with team spread across the globe in driving the delivery of projects.

Required Skills/Knowledge:

• Should have good SQL knowledge/ AWS and snowflake.
• Should be good in Agile methodologies and SDLC process.
