Job summary

JPMorganChase Corporate Technology seeks a Lead Software Engineer to advance data governance and scalable tech solutions. You will be a core technical contributor for enterprise data standards, metadata, data catalogs, and end-to-end governance across multiple business functions.

You will lead AI-assisted engineering practices, ensure secure and reliable delivery, and collaborate with architecture, analytics and compliance teams to drive governance controls and high-quality software delivery.

Qualifications

• Expert in ETL/ELT data engineering and enterprise data standards.
• Experience leading AI-assisted software engineering tools with validation.
• Knowledge of responsible AI in engineering workflows and secure practices.
• Strong data architecture, modeling and dimensional patterns.
• Proficiency with Databricks, Snowflake, AWS S3, and Teradata.
• Familiarity with Erwin or PowerDesigner for data modeling.

Responsibilities

• Implement and maintain end-to-end data governance solutions.
• Drive adoption of AI-assisted engineering practices to improve quality and speed.
• Apply SDLC toolchain knowledge to enhance automation value.
• Create and maintain enterprise data models and metadata artifacts.
• Maintain data catalogs and lineage tracking from source to consumption.
• Build governed ETL/ELT pipelines aligned to governance requirements.
• Implement data quality controls and remediation workflows.
• Collaborate with architecture, analytics and compliance teams.
