Job summary

NVIDIA is seeking an engineering lead to architect and scale the data acquisition infrastructure that powers our foundation models. Starting with Nemotron data, you will build systems that crawl the open web at scale and deliver reliable, high-quality data to training pipelines.

This is a hands-on technical leadership role spanning distributed systems, crawl infrastructure, and third-party data ingestion. You will own the architecture of a unified platform covering source discovery, URL

Qualifications

BS/MS/PhD in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.
15+ years in software engineering, large-scale distributed systems.
Experience designing/distributing crawls, indexing, ingestion systems.

Responsibilities

Design scalable frontier storage, queues, and high-throughput data processing.
Build a unified crawl execution layer for open-web, licensed, and partner content.
Define interfaces for source connectors; collaborate with parsing and curation teams.
Ensure data provenance, governance, and compliance with policies.
Own production readiness: capacity planning, observability, fault tolerance, and cost efficiency.
