Kemps in Cedarburg, WI seeks a Production Supervisor to lead the 2nd shift in a fast paced dairy manufacturing environment. You will drive safety, quality and productivity while building high performing teams and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Dairy Science, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
• 3+ years of food manufacturing experience, preferably in the dairy or food & beverage industry.
• 2+ years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Knowledge of continuous improvement methodologies and a commitment to driving process efficiency, productivity, and quality improvements.
• Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and the ability to learn and adapt to new systems and technologies quickly.

Responsibilities

• Monitor pasteurizing, separating, cooling or freezing, filling, mixing, cleanup, standardizing, and storing operations to meet production and quality standards.
• Lead daily production activities to ensure safety, quality, and productivity goals are achieved.
• Examine equipment to ensure proper function, cleaning and sanitization; arrange for timely repairs.
• Uphold SQF 2000 Level 3 requirements, manage policies and drive continuous improvement for certification.
• Supervise production scheduling, staffing, and material readiness to meet customer demand.
• Coach, train, and develop team members while promoting engagement and accountability.
• Manage employee performance, timekeeping, corrective actions, and labor relations as needed.
