Bering Straits Native Corporation is seeking a Senior Cybersecurity Incident Response Specialist in Washington, DC to join the SOC team. The role focuses on 24/7 monitoring, incident response, and coordination with clients and stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent preferred.
• Minimum of five years hands-on cybersecurity experience.
• Experience detecting, triaging, and responding to cyber incidents.

Responsibilities

• Serve on the SOC team providing 24/7 monitoring and incident response.
• Develop baselines from data flows to enhance response capabilities.
• Prepare playbooks and scenarios per NIST SP 800-61 and gov guidelines.
• Monitor SIEM sensors and triage alerts from multiple sources.
• Lead investigations, mentor junior analysts, and coordinate with clients.
• Report cybersecurity events per SOPs and policies.
