Job summary

Noetic Strategies, Inc. seeks an experienced ISSE in Alexandria, VA to lead cybersecurity for a DoW/TRMC campus project. You will drive RMF, ATO, and secure-by-design practices across IT, OT, and DEE environments, coordinating with COR, AO, and contractor teams.

The role requires 8+ years in cybersecurity, strong communication, and the ability to operate in a high‑stakes, multi‑discipline setting. Travel ~20% and TOP SECRET clearance are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity or related discipline, with relevant certifications.
• 8+ years in cybersecurity engineering or secure network architecture.
• 3+ years in a government advisory role (SETA) for cybersecurity oversight.
• Deep understanding of RMF, NIST SP 800-53, and DoW Zero Trust architecture.

Responsibilities

• Serve as government cybersecurity advisor to COR, overseeing IA and architecture.
• Act as authoritative oversight POC to ensure security and performance objectives.
• Drive the ATO process, coordinating with AO for accreditation of systems.
• Track cybersecurity deliverables and enforce DoW Zero Trust and lifecycle controls.
• Review SSPs, Threat Models, continuous monitoring plans, and incident response procedures.
• Advise on multi‑classification network integration across security domains.
• Own cyber risk, develop mitigations for critical facilities and data.
• Coordinate with SMEs to assess risk and inform government decisions.
• Represent the government in IPTs, TIMs, and design reviews with security focus.
• Collaborate with engineers to integrate cybersecurity into physical/digital environments.
• Translate data into decision-ready insights and brief executives.
