Job summary

JPMorgan Chase & Co. is seeking a Cybersecurity AI/ML Lead – Data Scientist to develop advanced analytical and machine learning solutions for cybersecurity and technology risk challenges.

You will design scalable, auditable data-driven solutions for Cyber Operations teams. You will conduct data analysis, statistical modeling, and deep learning to solve security problems, preparing datasets, evaluating models, and communicating results to technical and business stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Obtain 5+ years of experience with formal training or certification in security engineering concepts.
• Working knowledge of probability, statistics, distributions and their application to cybersecurity or technology risk.
• Advanced Python skills with Pandas, SQL and data visualization tools.
• Experience leading teams in safe use of enterprise-authorized AI capabilities for security workflows.

Responsibilities

• Partner with stakeholders to understand security needs, define use cases, and acquire data.
• Perform exploratory data analysis on security datasets and communicate findings.
• Develop and evaluate statistical, ML and deep learning models for cybersecurity.
• Prepare model-ready datasets via feature engineering and data quality assessment.
• Promote reuse of enterprise AI capabilities with human-in-the-loop validation and data sensitivity handling.
• Establish guardrails for AI-assisted workflows with traceability and security alignment.
• Document model selection, interpretability and performance for governance.
• Design, build, review, debug, and maintain secure production code for analytics.
• Apply industry standards to improve security processes and protocols.
• Foster diversity, equity, inclusion and respect within the team.
