Job summary

RTX Corporation's BBN Technologies in Cambridge is seeking a Senior Principal Cyber Engineer to lead a high-impact team. You will shape cyber/EW research, drive government-funded proposals, and collaborate across RTX to deliver cutting-edge solutions for national security.

The role requires a DoD Secret clearance, a strong track record in cybersecurity R&D leadership, and the ability to recruit and mentor top researchers. Hybrid onsite work with DoD-related travel is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Computer Science, or relevant field.
• Active and transferable Secret DoD security clearance required on day one.
• Track record in writing and winning competitive government-funded R&D proposals.
• Experience in technical leadership of cybersecurity-focused R&D teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead an exceptional team to build Cyber/EW technologies for DoD/IC customers.
• Define and execute a vision and tactical direction for BBN within RTX.
• Direct cross-functional teams in business development, proposals, and execution.
• Hire and mentor personnel; grow a high-caliber research group.
• Travel up to 15%.
