Banfield Pet Hospital in Tampa is seeking a Certified Veterinary Technician shift lead. You will work with experts to support pet health, educate clients, and guide the veterinary team. The role offers growth opportunities within a leading veterinary practice and a focus on preventive care.

The position emphasizes technician responsibilities under veterinary supervision, client service excellence, and leadership within the hospital to ensure smooth daily operations.

Formación

• Veterinary Technician Certification or Licensure (CVT, RVT, LVT, LVMT).
• Familiarity with hospital processes and client coordination.

Responsabilidades

• Recruit new clients by promoting hospital services and preventive care.
• Manage client flow to maximize productivity of the veterinary team.
• Provide professional, efficient service and educate clients about pet health.
• Perform technician appointments under veterinarian supervision where allowed by state laws.
• Complete client documentation and enter pet history accurately.
• Handle prescriptions, retail items, and schedule future appointments.
• Maintain hospital cleanliness and accurate medical records.
• Assist veterinarian during surgeries as applicable.
• Train and mentor new paraprofessional associates.
