Job summary

Closets by Design is seeking an Installer to install custom closets, home offices, and more at customer homes in the Tallahassee area. You will work with hand and power tools, follow drawings, and ensure safety and quality on every job.

The ideal candidate is customer‑oriented, reliable, and possesses a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record. Training is provided, with opportunities for advancement and bonuses.

Qualifications

• Customer oriented, friendly and enthusiastic.
• Reliable, punctual with good work ethic.
• Possess and maintain current driver’s license.
• Good driving record.
• Operate company vehicle in safe manner.
• Closet, garage, office installation experience preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong personal organization skills.

Responsibilities

• Install custom closets and cabinets at customer homes.
• Follow basic drawings or instructions to assist with setup.
• Use hand and power tools safely (training provided).
• Measure, cut, and fit materials with guidance from lead carpenter.
• Assist with mounting shelves and leveling parts.
• Keep job sites clean and organized during and after installation.
