Job summary

ESFM, the facilities management arm of Compass Group USA, is hiring a Lead Janitor for Kohler, WI. The role oversees custodial teams, conducts training, and ensures safe cleaning operations in a heavy commercial environment.

The position is full-time, Monday–Friday, 2:30 pm–11:00 pm, with a requirement of at least 1 year of supervisory experience. Pay is $17.50 per hour and online applications are accepted only.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of supervisory experience.
• Ability to lead and train custodial teams.
• Knowledge of cleaning methods, materials and heavy commercial cleaning equipment.

Responsibilities

• Conducts classroom and hands-on training on customer service, safety, compliance and company policies.
• Conducts one-on-one training as needed.
• Updates and provides training on use of janitorial equipment, PPE and chemical usage/safety.
• Copies training material and revises material as needed; conducts administrative tasks as requested.
• Provides feedback on new associates during orientation period; reviews trainee records to ensure successful compliance.
• Provides recommendations to training coordinator for disciplinary action as appropriate.
• Performs reviews, e.g., monthly safety performance review, to ensure compliance with OSHA and local requirements.
• Performs walk-through building inspections as required.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
