Modesto City Schools is a Pre-K through 12th grade district, serving approximately 30,000 students. The District is one of the largest employers in Stanislaus County, with over 3,200 employees. It is divided into three divisions: Business Services, Educational Services, and Human Resources. An Associate Superintendent oversees each division and a variety of programs, such as Early Childhood Education, Child Welfare & Attendance, Special Education, Nutrition Services, and Transportation. Modesto City Schools also offers an Induction Program with a state-approved curriculum by which new teachers attain their Professional Clear Credential. Requirements / Qualifications
  1. Two (2) years of custodial experience;
  2. One (1) year of experience supervising custodial employees;
  3. High School Diploma or General Education Development (GED) Certificate or California High School Proficiency Examination (CHSPE) Certificate;
  4. Valid California Driver's License;
  5. Must provide a DMV printout within five (5) workdays of offer of employment;
  6. Sufficient physical ability, strength, mobility, and stamina to move, lift, push/pull, or carry objects which may frequently exceed 50 pounds.
