Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Two years custodial shift leadership or supervisor experience.
• Ability to attend and complete on-the-job training.
• Must pass written and practical tests on cleaning chemicals and procedures.
• On-call availability for emergency/disaster response.
• Must be able to operate district vehicles when assigned.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the safety of children is the top priority.
• Perform cleaning and sanitizing per department procedures.
• Operate and maintain custodial equipment according to instructions.
• Restock restrooms and maintain supplies.
• Move, arrange, and set up furniture as needed.
• Supervise custodial staff on shift and train as necessary.
• Complete facility inspections and submit reports on time.
• Respond to emergencies during off hours as designated.
