Job summary

Hazelwood School District's Hazelwood Central High School in Florissant, Missouri is seeking a Lead Custodian for the day shift. You will report directly to the Director of Custodial or his designee and oversee crew assignments, supplies, and records.

Responsibilities include reviewing work requests, inventory actions, and performing custodial duties such as cleaning, lamp replacement, floor care, and minor repairs. Immediate starting date; full-time hire.

Qualifications

• Graduation from a general or technical high school or GED and considerable experience in general institutional housekeeping.
• Must have one year custodial experience.

Job Description

Responsibility:
Directly responsible to the Director of Custodial or his designee.
Responsible for assigning crew personnel to jobs, ordering supplies, and maintaining required records.
Review of work requests or conditions for crew assignments, inventory and supply actions on a routine basis.
Perform custodial duties including regular and mechanical equipment, clean, dust mop, vacuum, scrub floors, walls and ceilings, replacing lamps, and replacing of wall mounted fixtures, small furniture repairs, mow/trim grass, and snow removal as needed
Perform custodial tasks in accordance with standard practices of the institutional housekeeping trade.
Perform all custodial and related duties in a conscientious safe manner.

Qualifications:
Graduation from a general or technical high school or GED and considerable experience in general institutional housekeeping or any equivalent combination or training or experience. Must have one year custodial experience.
