Job summary

Lumber Liquidators in Los Angeles, CA seeks a Lead Custodian to perform a full range of custodial tasks at various contract locations. You will lead custodians, ensure cleanliness, and respond to both routine and urgent housekeeping needs with strong coordination and communication.

Responsibilities include daily cleaning tasks, supervising team members, coordinating supplies, and driving as needed to different sites. This role requires reliability and the ability to work with government staff.

• Performs daily cleaning tasks (floor stripping/waxing, window washing, pressure washing, restroom cleaning)
• Maintains clean and sanitary conditions throughout facilities
• Act as primary communication link between supervisor and custodians
• Responds to general and emergency housekeeping requests
• Coordinates custodians in assigned areas during Team Cleaning
• Floats between work areas to ensure coverage
• Coordinates with Project Manager for supplies and duty lists
• Maintains custodial equipment and supplies in orderly condition
• Interacts with Government personnel and customers
• Advises supervisor of contract requirement changes by Government staff
• Driving is required for this position

Primary Responsibility / Summary

Performs a full range of custodial services, and works as Lead Custodian at various Contract locations.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

1. Performs daily cleaning tasks as assigned, including floor stripping and waxing, window washing, pressure washing and restroom cleaning.
2. Maintains clean and sanitary conditions throughout.
3. Serves as primary point of communication between supervisor and custodians at the facility.
4. Responds to general and emergency housekeeping calls and requests.
5. Coordinates custodians in assigned work areas when doing Team Cleaning.
6. Floats between all work areas as needed to maintain work coverage.
7. Coordinates with Project Manager for supplies and duty lists.
8. Maintains custodial equipment and supplies in neat, orderly condition.
9. Interacts cooperatively with Government personnel and customers.
10. Immediately advises supervisor when Government staff directs changes in contract requirements.
11. Driving will also be a requirement for this position.
