Job summary

GRBS is seeking a Custodian Lead for Byron Center Public Schools in Hudsonville, MI. This full-time, second-shift role runs Monday through Friday with one scheduled weekend per month and a 3:00pm–11:30pm schedule, totaling 40 hours weekly.

As Lead, you will execute the cleaning process, supervise the team, use GRBS tools, conduct nightly perimeter checks, and ensure accountability with integrity. We offer strong benefits and career growth.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older with valid ID.
• Michigan public school background checks may apply.
• Experience leading cleaning teams preferred.

Responsibilities

• Execute the clean building process using GRBS methods and tools.
• Finish tasks with GRBS equipment and supplies.
• Lead, manage, serve, and hold team members accountable.
• Communicate effectively with the team and supervisors.
• Lead with integrity and humility in daily operations.
• Perform nightly perimeter door checks.
