U.S. Facilities, Inc., a leader in comprehensive building maintenance services, is seeking a Lead Custodian in Philadelphia, PA. This role reports directly to a supervisor and involves ensuring the cleanliness and safety of the facility. The ideal candidate will have knowledge of cleaning equipment, floor maintenance tools, alarm and security systems, and excellent communication skills to coordinate with custodial staff and school personnel.

The responsibilities include:

  1. Supervising custodial staff to meet cleaning standards.
  2. Performing quality assurance on routine and emergency cleaning tasks.
  3. Assigning tasks and scheduling staff shifts.
  4. Responding to stakeholder requests and resolving issues.
  5. Training staff on cleaning procedures, equipment, and safety protocols.
  6. Ensuring proper use of chemicals and PPE, and monitoring safety compliance.
  7. Completing project work related to floor maintenance and other assigned tasks.
  8. Reporting supply needs and performing custodian duties as needed.
  9. Adhering to all relevant policies and procedures.

Qualifications:

  1. High school diploma or equivalent.
  2. Minimum of 3 years of custodial experience in institutional or commercial settings.
  3. Previous supervisory experience.
  4. Flexibility to change shifts and lift up to 50 pounds.
  5. Valid driver's license and willingness to undergo background checks.
