An established industry player is seeking a Lead Custodian to manage a dedicated team responsible for maintaining cleanliness and order in their facilities. The Lead Custodian will oversee a team of 5 to 15 members responsible for the daily cleaning and custodial care of one or two buildings, under the guidance of the building Supervisor. Responsibilities include inspecting work areas daily, using proper methods and materials for cleaning and maintenance, and providing training and mentoring as directed by the Supervisor. The position follows established routines and provides feedback to the Supervisor during performance reviews, but does not participate in discussions.
Physical requirements include standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, and crouching throughout the day. The employee must frequently lift and move items weighing up to 50 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodations.
