Job description

Kadiak, LLC, a Koniag Government Services company, is seeking a Lead Custodian to support Kadiak and our government customer in Bozeman, MT.

Leadership:
  1. Supervise, coordinate, and assign tasks to custodial staff.
  2. Provide guidance and training to team members.
  3. Assist in hiring and onboarding new team members.
Cleaning Management:
  1. Inspect work to ensure quality standards.
  2. Develop cleaning schedules and procedures.
Inventory Management:
  1. Order and maintain cleaning supplies/equipment.
Communication:
  1. Act as point of contact between staff and management.
  2. Liaise between custodial staff and other departments.
Compliance:
  1. Ensure adherence to federal facility cleaning protocols and regulations.
Specialized Tasks:
  1. Handle complex cleaning tasks.
  2. Assist with setup and cleanup for special events.
Maintenance:
  1. Report maintenance issues or safety hazards.
Performance:

Lead team in balancing cleaning load for compliant results.

Additional Notes:
  1. Reports to CE.
  2. Responsible for cleaning various areas, including offices, restrooms, common areas, and exterior grounds.
  3. Ensure a safe and healthy environment.
  4. Qualifications include a U.S. Citizen status, High School Diploma or GED (preferably high school diploma), ability to perform heavy cleaning duties, manage custodial projects, lift 50 lbs, and demonstrate clear communication skills.
  5. Must be dependable, hardworking, conscientious, cooperative, and capable of working independently.
  6. Experience in custodial, carpet, and floor care is required.
Certifications:
  • Mandatory: Advanced Custodial Technical Certification from the Cleaning Management Institute (CMI).
