Job summary

Responsibilities

  • Lead cultivation agents in pruning, cleaning, and general garden tasks.
  • Act as a role model and resource for policies, procedures, and regulatory changes.
  • Delegate tasks and ensure compliance and cleanliness of the cultivation facility.
  • Coordinate with Garden Supervisors to share accurate cultivation information.

JOB SUMMARY

The Lead Cultivation Agent is responsible for optimizing plant health and fostering a collaborative team environment. This position leads a team of Cultivation Garden Agents in various key cultivation activities, including but not limited to defoliation, skirting, harvesting, and sanitation.

CORE JOB DUTIES
Agent Support and Management
  • Responsible for leading cultivation agents in prunes, cleaning,and general garden tasks.
  • Serves as arol e modeland resourcewithin cultivationconcerning products and services, policies and procedures, industry news, and changes in regulations.
  • Responds to all gardener questions, concerns, or suggestions andtakes actionwhen necessary to resolve conflictswith proper communication to supervisor
  • Under the direction of thesupervisor;responsible for delegating tasks to gardeners and harvest techniciansin order tomaintaina compliant and clean cultivation facility.
  • Coordinates with theGarden Supervisorto ensureaccurateinformation is communicated to the cultivation staff.
Cultivation Operation Management
  • Leadsall cultivation tasks and processes, ensures proper documentation of all applicable activitiesin accordance withthe State and standards set by Cresco Labs.
  • Mayberequiredfor measuring and mixing nutrient and plant applications and applying these mixtures according to Cresco Labs policy.
  • Ensure plant health by pruning, topping, trimming, analyzing plant health according to Cresco Labs policy, as well as any other tasksrequired.
  • Apply strain specific pruning techniques in an ever-changing environment according to Cresco Labs Cultivation SOPs.
Reports and Documentation
  • Required to input waste through METRC tomaintaingarden compliance
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION AND SKILLS
  • Demonstrated experience training, leading and/or mentoring junior staff or new hires preferred.
  • Demonstrated experience overseeing a large-scale agriculture facility preferred.
  • Two years’ experience within a production facility,regulated field highly preferred.Or,any satisfactory combination of experience and training which clearlydemonstratesthe ability to perform the above-described duties.
  • Effective time-management, organizational skills,and ability to multi-task
  • Advanced knowledge of plant cultivation and cultivation facility operations
  • Computer literacy in word processing, point-of-sale systems, windows-based software, anddatabasemanagement
  • Knowledge of medical cannabis policy and law
  • Critical-thinking, problem-solving,planningand assessmentskills
  • Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced,changingand challenging environment
  • Requires work around plant material, which could include exposure to plant pollen and/or dust.
  • Requires ability to sit, stand, kneel, and/or do repetitive actions with your hands forlong periodsof time.
  • Requires ability tolift upto 50lbsto torso level.

Final offer details and future compensation may be determined by multiple factors including but not limited to, geographic location, market compensation data, skills, experience, and other relevant factors. Pay Range

$20.50 - $20.50 USD
