Job summary

UF Health Central Florida's radiology team in The Villages, FL seeks a CT/X-ray Radiology Technologist to join a 24/7 imaging group. You will work with radiologists and staff to deliver safe, high-quality imaging services and patient care.

Requirements include graduation from an accredited radiology program, ARRT certification with CT preferred, Florida license, BLS, and English proficiency. CT cross-training is a plus; sign-on bonus is available for full-time hires.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited radiology program.
• ARRT certification required; CT certification preferred.
• Florida licensure as Radiologic Technologist General Radiographer.
• Cross-training in CT and ability to read, write and speak English.
• BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT, X-ray and general Radiology technologist duties under supervision.
• Minimize radiation exposure to patients, self and staff while delivering quality care.

Responsibilities

Under the direction of the Department Manager and in association with the radiologists, the technologist conducts themselves in a professional manner, responding to patient needs and supporting their colleagues and associates in providing quality patient care. Under the direction of the supervisor, this position must perform all functions related to multiple modalities: including CT or Xray and general Radiology Technologist duties.

The CT/Xray Technologist performs services in accordance to an accepted standard of practice and demonstrates expertise in minimizing radiation exposure to the patient, self and other members of the health care team.
