Job summary

UF Health in The Villages, FL seeks a CT/X-ray Radiology Technologist to join our team. Responsibilities include operating CT and X-ray modalities, ensuring patient safety, and supporting radiology colleagues in delivering quality patient care.

Qualifications include graduation from an accredited radiology program, state licensure in Florida, ARRT credentials, and BLS. English proficiency is required, with cross-training in CT preferred.

• Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English.

Responsibilities

• Under the direction of the Department Manager and in association with the radiologists, the technologist conducts themselves in a professional manner, responding to patient needs and supporting their colleagues and associates in providing quality patient care.
• The CT/Xray Technologist performs services in accordance to an accepted standard of practice and demonstrates expertise in minimizing radiation exposure to the patient, self and other members of the health care team.
