The community you’ll be caring for: AdventHealth Tampa, AdventHealth Pepin Heart Institute, Surgical Pioneers, and more. Recognized for advances in cardiovascular care, stroke treatment, and surgical innovation.
The role you’ll contribute: Responsible for supervising daily operations in the CT department, ensuring smooth flow, maintaining supplies within budget, performing neuro and body scans, building and analyzing complex 3D and CTA studies, and conducting QA audits. Provides supervision, encourages engagement, and maintains good relationships with physicians and partners. Meets with customers to ensure service levels are maintained and participates in customer service initiatives.
The value you’ll bring to the team: Performs all exams on patients of all ages following protocols, educates patients, screens for contrast allergies, starts IVs, and performs complex studies. Completes exams efficiently, manages workflow, and minimizes downtime. Operates all equipment safely, adapts protocols as needed, and serves as a clinical instructor. Ensures safety standards, maintains a clean and organized work environment, and performs QA and supply management. Reviews images, provides feedback, and conducts evaluations. Uses computer systems for exam management, ensuring accuracy and proper documentation.
Qualifications
The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed: AS or BS in Radiologic Technology, three years of CT experience, Florida State License as a General Radiographer, ARRT certifications in Radiography and CT, and BLS certification.
