Job summary

Parkridge Medical Center in Chattanooga, part of HCA Healthcare, seeks a Lead CT Technologist to oversee imaging services and mentor staff. You will coordinate daily technologist assignments, ensure quality patient care, and maintain safety protocols in a fast-paced diagnostic environment.

The Lead CT Technologist will also supervise exams, ensure proper documentation, and participate in quality control and on-call rotations. Prior lead or supervisory experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Basic Cardiac Life Support certification.
• ARRT-CT certification for Computed Tomography.
• ARRT-R Radiography certification.
• Graduate of an accredited school of Radiology.

Responsibilities

• Staffing coordination and daily technologist assignments.
• Ensure exams are completed and marked in taken status.
• Maintain safety and proper exposure techniques.
• Mentor radiology students and junior staff.
• Follow QA procedures and dose safety guidelines.
• Document exams and related patient records accurately.
• Support on-call and holiday schedule as required.
• Communicate with patients, clinicians and coworkers.
• Manage supplies and department productivity.
