Job summary

Penn Medicine in Lancaster, PA is seeking a CT Technologist to support quality management across the Lancaster General Health System. This full-time role focuses on maintaining QA standards, developing procedures, and guiding technologists.

The position requires AMA-approved radiologic technology education, AART CT certification, and strong communication skills. Leadership experience and a commitment to patient care are preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an AMA approved program for Radiological Technology.
• Certified by the AART in Radiological Technology and Computerized Tomography.
• Must be a registered CT Technologist.
• Maintains Continuing Education credits in compliance with AART requirements.
• Excellent professional communication with patients.
• Excellent patient care and customer service skills.
• Five years of CT experience and three years leading teams (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Under the direction of their Supervisor establishes, implements, and oversees the quality performance standards for equipment, procedures and work environment.
• Performs timely, accurate, concise, and complete documentation of QA activities, policies, protocols, results and action plans.
• Utilizes the QA results to perform outcome measurement and assessment.
• Develops and implements an action plan when outcome measurement results are not within the established standards.
• Develops written protocols that meet or exceed established American College of Radiology guidelines and accreditation requirements.
• Mentors identified preceptors and assists with process as needed.
• Summarizes statistics and reports results to the quality management committee.
