Job summary

Penn Medicine is seeking a CT Technologist to provide radiographic CT imaging for diagnostic and therapeutic purposes at Lancaster General Hospital in Lancaster, PA. The role requires performing CT procedures, patient positioning, and coordination with Radiologists to ensure quality imaging.

We offer sign-on incentives and schedule flexibility for evening shifts. Candidates must be AMA-approved graduates with ARRT/NMTCB certification and CPR within 30 days of hire.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an AMA-approved Radiological Technology, Nuclear Medicine or Radiation Therapy School.
• Active ARRT registration in Radiologic Technology, Computed Tomography, or Radiation Therapy; or NMTCB certification.
• CT credentials from ARRT or NMTCB within 18 months from date of hire.
• CPR certification within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Performs all routine diagnostic radiographic CT procedures with proper patient positioning and technique.
• Receives requests, checks for special instructions, and consults with Radiologists as needed.
• Greets patients, confirms identifications, explains the procedure to patient and family per directions.
• Operates hospital computer system and documents information and patient history in the EMR.
• Completes examination, consultation, and billing procedures as required.
• Utilizes computer equipment, EHR, email and intranet as required.
