Job summary

The Lead CT Tech at Providence Milwaukie Hospital in Milwaukie, OR leads daily imaging operations and performs CT examinations according to physician orders. You will supervise the modality team, ensure high-quality, patient-focused imaging, and apply clinical judgment to optimize scans while considering patient age and needs.

Qualifications

• Education to meet certification, license or registration requirement.
• Oregon Medical Imaging License required at hire.
• BLS certification at hire (American Heart Association).
• ARRT Radiography or CT or Nuclear Medicine CT certifications required.
• Minimum 2 years imaging experience.

Job description

Lead CT Tech at Providence Milwaukie Hospital in Milwaukie, OR.

The Diagnostic Imaging Lead assists, organizes and directs the daily activities of their modality, while also performing the duties of a technologist / sonographer. The technologist / sonographer duties include but are not limited to: performing examinations according to physician orders, utilizing a variety of sophisticated imaging equipment, taking into account individual patient needs or age-related needs. Utilizes knowledge and judgment in regard to imaging factors, imaging technique and patient treatment to produce optimal images. A $4,000 sign-on bonus is offered to eligible external candidates who meet all conditions for payment – this is in addition to the fantastic benefits and compensation package offered by Providence that begin on the first day of employment.

Required Qualifications

• Education to meet certification, license or registration requirement.

• Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association.
• Upon hire: National Registered Technologist - Radiography - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists.

The successful candidate's placement on the wage range for this position will be determined based upon relevant job experience and other applicable factors. Pay Range: $53.10 - $83.84
