Job summary

UPMC Hamot seeks an experienced Lead CT Technologist to direct imaging operations, mentor staff, and support quality assurance initiatives in a high-acuity trauma and stroke center. The role combines hands-on CT work with leadership responsibilities and project coordination.

The position involves rotating shifts, including weekends and holidays, with potential coverage at the Peach Imaging Center. A $20,000 sign-on bonus may be offered with a 2-year commitment.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an ARRT approved school of Radiologic Technology or completion of accredited CNMT program.
• CT Specialty Boards completed.
• 3 years CT experience required.
• Must have a strong recent performance review as a promotion prerequisite.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily workflow and department scheduling to maintain adequate staffing and patient flow.
• Lead orientation and training for new hires, students, and staff; ensure competencies and provide remediation when needed.
• Assist in talent acquisition interviews and provide feedback for annual performance reviews.
• Represent the department in supervisor absence and support leadership decisions.
• Perform CT imaging procedures at an advanced level and contribute to protocol development and QA activities.
