Job summary

UPMC Hanover seeks an experienced Lead CT Technologist to oversee the CT department, coordinate workflow, and support hospital and off-site locations. The role involves leading staff, coordinating exams, and driving QA projects to ensure efficient operations.

You will mentor technologists, participate in talent recruitment, and manage daily scheduling, with emphasis on quality and timely patient care. ARRT CT certification and 3 years CT experience are required.

Qualifications

• 3 years CT experience required.
• ARRT CT certification required.
• CT Specialty Boards completed.

Responsibilities

• Assists with QA projects and develops exam protocols with advanced technologists; communicates results to leadership.
• Performs all responsibilities of CT Tech I and Advanced CT Tech II.
• Leads orientation and training for new hires, students and staff; ensures competencies are completed timely and provides remediation when needed.
• Coordinates daily workflow and staffing levels based on call-offs, vacations, patient volumes, and training needs.
• Assists in talent acquisition interviews and provides feedback for annual performance reviews.
• Assumes leadership in the supervisor's absence.
